What the hell is a blog ??
Sooooo, I've been informed that this new means of communication is really the cat's arse, and I should familiarize myself with how to write, and respond to, a blog.
To that end, please allow this to be my premier entry into the world of BLOGS. Webster's defines 'blog' as:
| an online diary; a personal chronological log of thoughts published on a Web page; also called Weblog, |
So, now I know.
So, here we go.
If truth be known, I love to write. I have since I was scrawling on bathroom stalls in grade school. Perhaps you remember one of my more famous writings: 'Don't look up here, the joke is in your hands'.
Anyway, I plan to use my blog to spark some interactive musings about any and all issues that might affect us. I'm hoping you will contribute from time to time, to make this excercise that much more fruitful and engaging. I will also use the blog to post some of my on-air commentaries, which we call Words of Wixdom. Its your best chance to tell me I'm full of poop, to agree, offer a different angle, or just expand on the premise of the original thought. It will provide me with a ton of ammunition for my comments, because afterall, the more and different opinions we can solicit, the more well-rounded the thought process becomes. We can use this open forum to better ourselves, the communities in which we live, and if all goes well, life itself!!

No, not your blog. Although it does have potential. I mean the radio station itself. And of course, Words of Wixdom. Thus far, I have only had to cringe once or twice - usually I laugh so much that I have to pull the car over. But most of all, I enjoy your point of view. It's not always right, but always interesting. Keep up the good work on the morning show. Something that is just a little above Barrie -- Midland of course and 104.l ....
