Naming Your Vehicle...

So this morning we talked about naming your vehicle...Do you name your vehicle? I think that one MUST name their vehicle to create a personal bond between them and their car, truck, van or motorcycle. I first bought into this theory when I got my first truck. I named it 50, it was an F-150. My next truck was another F-150, his name was JUNIOR. Due to the atrocious gas prices in this day and age, I have sadly gotten rid of my truck. You can't replace a truck, but I had to get something so I just got myself a new Escape. It's black, with black leather interior and looks pretty slick. I have named it ELVIS as it is black and slick like the hair of the King himself.
This morning we had several callers share the names of their vehicles including a Jetta named Darth Vader, a Neon named Betsy, a 1980 Ford F-100 named Ugly Betty, a Toyota named Yoda, a Harley name Lucy and MORE! Even our General Manager and Traffic Manager have named their Pearl and Isaac! It's a GREAT thing to do. Please try it!
I need your help though. Both Wicks and Meg have NAMELESS vehicles. Please help name them.
Here is a picture of Meg car. It a Honda Civic. I think it maroon, but Meg seems to think it's purple. Just a hint, Meg LOVES the environment.
This is Wick's truck. It's a maroon Ford F-150, King Ranch edition. Also, you will notice the Leer Truck cap on the back.
Please help me and come up with names for these vehicles. They need personality.

Was a tradition that my mom and dad started for me back in the 1960's..... We had the "blue tiger", the "Hillbilly" and I can't remember the name of the many others that came down the road. When my daughter was young in the 80's, I had a 1965 Dodge Dart with 3 on the tree...... That was "Mommy's Old Lady Race Car" because daddy had a 1970 Camaro with stick. My 1993 Geo Metro was "Gina". And we have had Vinnie
(Vincent VAN Gogh) for a mini van that was missing one of the black bumper guards, Emily, for a blue van, because my step son (then 5 or so) had a crush on Emily in school. Enzo (for Enzo Ferrari) for my daughter's first car (an old ford taurus that couldn't get out of it's own way)and the most recent "Korie" for our 2002 Kia Sedona.
My choices for Megs car are "Blossom" or "Fern". You can tell Meg it looks purple to me too....
For the p/u truck, maybe something like "Andy" or "Roonie" for...... Maroon...???? Since you don't say anything about his personal likes and hobbies it's a tough call.

we had a cavalier. as a family car we knew it deserved to have a name that was strong and able to take massive amounts of mcdonalds chips packed into the seats....as such we named it captain. whenever we needed the help of a ride, of course, we called captain cavalier.....never doubt the captain....
by the way, u should ask brian about his belly bashing exploites before he left midland the first time....the wickster was legendary

I had a car was grey and very precious to me, I called it Baby..it was a good car but my husband would use it often. Anyways one friday night my husband came home but my baby didn't and I guess I should have not been so upset about the whole ordeal seeing he (my husband) acted responsible when it came to drinking. But you see, my baby never spent the night on the street, so I called the cab company whom dropped off my husband and they took me to were my Baby was...we arrived where my baby should not have been...I said to the cab driver...awwww my poor baby...and the driver responded...which one of those drunk guys is your baby..I said..none of them ...I am talking about my car...LOL...but this story only gets better...see my car was parked at a strip joint..naughty man of mine..LOL...well the next day my husband went to the flower shop..and asked the guy there...what kind of flowers to get me and the flower shop guy asked...what kind of trouble did you get into...well my husband said..I left her baby at the strip joint...and the flower shop guy said...Man you don't need a flower shop you need a jewelery store...haahahaha....I just thought I would share some laughter about my baby whom I miss..she was a great car!!!

Meg, I think you should call your car Jimmie ( you can add the e at the end to make it more feminine.) It relates back to the famous Jimmi Hendricks and Purple Haze. I think it is perfect.......

Roop I'll have you know I was the genius who named the white Honda Wanda. I had a Lancer I called Lance and a Daytona I called Tony and a Caravan I called Vana Blue. My current Sunfire has no name... probably because I have no emotional connection to it. Maybe I should call it... Burden.
For Megs car... Patch (purple + hatch)
For Brians... I agree with the guy who called it King Leer

and a buddy of mine had a Chevy Lumina van named 'Vanborghini'
Cheers,
Joel

Wick's Truck could simply be called "KING LEER" This should sound familiar going back to high school.
I used to own a Civic as well. I called it the "POCKET ROCKET" cause it was a tiny Hatchback. I always wanted to call it a "BULLSCHIVIC"
I have 2 more...
I drive a SUZUKI and it's called "DAVID"
A buddy of mine drove a TAURUS and called it "CLIT"
