Is it just me, or did this summer fly by in a real hurry? I was shocked to realize that today was August 21st... or just one month away from the first day of fall. I thought, "That can't be... I've only been in a pool once, been to the beach twice, and have yet to even touch a boat!"

I remember when I was in elementary school... long before the days of the "summer job" when summers were spent like this:

Wake Up, Get Dressed, Eat Breakfast, Run Down The Street And Gather Up Friends, Ride Bikes, Jump Rope, Break for Lunch, Meet Up Again, Play Tag, Cops and Robbers, Break for Dinner, Meet Up Again and Play Midnight Madness or Take in a Movie... Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

Those were the days... and I intend on taking them back. Starting now with what's left of this summer i'm reclaiming my childhood. I'm going to play frisbee on the beach, visit the zoo, go to wonderland, bring out the old bicycle and call on friends to just "Hang Out". That's what summer's all about. Who's with me?
