A Little Early Much?

  It came today... The Sears Christmas Wishbook. Its not even fall yet and we're expected to delve into Christmas wishlists? It just looks like a foreign object staring up at me from my coffee table... all red, white and green, full of tantalizing objects and toys.

As excited as I am about Christmas (and let me tell you... I AM!), I just feel that cracking this bad boy open is officially turning my back on Summer, which I'm not quite ready to let go of yet. I want to put on my sandals and sunglasses a few more times before I decide what to buy my posh older sister, or sweet grandmother who already has everything.

I'll accept the Halloween decorations in the store, I realize that holiday is a short lived one and we must get as much bang for our buck as we can by Octbober 31st, but I don't feel anyone can be expected to peel back the plastic on this catalogue until November 1st, as a result.

ONE HOLIDAY AT A TIME PEOPLE!

Sears has a bad reputation of backordering...don't wait till Nov 1 or you may not get your stuff!


Mine was here in mid August..The Ikea one comes just before and yes it's a tell tale sign that fall is coming..
