Bond, James Bond

Quantum of Solace opens North America wide November 14 Bond is back, and in a very very big way.

After the release of 2006's Casino Royale, the anticipation for another Daniel Craig appearance grew with every showing movie across the world. It opened to box office records world wide; including India, Russia, the UK, and North America. It's become one of the most successful Bond movies in history, and by far trumped it's Die Another Day predecessor. Or as I say, Forget it Ever Happened.

Opening weekend for the latest installment in the Bond series (Quantum of Solace) has once again set records and brought in rave reviews from the UK. On it's first day at the box-office it brought in $8 million in UK theatres. This surpasses the previous record set by Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which earned $4.7 million (again keep in mind these are UK figures).

Quantum of Solace also begins a new chapter of the Bond series as it was a brand new story altogether. Canadian writer and Academy Award winner Paul Haggis even contributed to the script. Remember Due South? Damn right.

All we do now is play the waiting game; Quantum of Solace opens across North America on November 14.

The Great James Bond Debate will still rage on despite an amicable performance from Daniel Craig. Who is the greatest James Bond of all time? Roger Moore. Nope not Sean Connery. Thanks though.
