CELL PHONE HEROES

We all get those emails that have life's secrets in them.....how to get rid of ants, build a space ship with a screw driver, that sort of thing. We got one saying you can unlock your car with your cellphone if your keys are inside.
Could this really be true??? We tested it for you. I drove "Elvis the Escape" (Roop's car) out of the parking lot, locked it and Roop pressed his remote keyless entry into the cell while I held the phone to the keypad. Unlocked! We couldn't believe it!
What else?
Stop paying 411 charges.....for FREE directory assistance dial 1-800-GOOG-411 We checked THAT one weeks ago.....we're sooo ahead of things.
To deal with stolen cell phones press *#06*.....you'll get a 15 digit number on your screen....write it down and keep it safe.....if your cell gets stolen give your company this number and they'll be able to disable it. The theif won't be able to use it even if he changes your SIM card.
These ones we haven't tested so take with a grain of salt....
If you have an emergency and you're out of cell phone range, dial 112 and your network will search for service.
If your battery is dying and you have an emergency, dial *3370# you'll get 50% battery reserve, which will recharge next time you charge your phone.

I suspect when Roop hit his unlock button his car was still within range of the transmitter. I know I have accidentally unlcked my vehicles out in the drive while sitting at the back of the house.
Try a real test and head downtown
and I think you will find this one is false.
