Greatest Moments In Rock and Roll History

So my lovely girlfriend Lesley is not a huge fan of rock music. It's alright, none of us are perfect. But I thought I would give her a lesson and write a blog at the same time. Kill two birds with one stone. So here are my own personal Greatest Moments in Rock History.

#10) The very first day Jebediah Hendrix Pageatolla, (maybe not his real name) created what is thought to be the first known guitar like instrument 3300 years ago in what is now Turkey.

#9) The invention of MTV. Now they could put our favourite music on the screen with hot girls dancing. It's like peanut butter and jelly really.

#8) To Sabbath for making the loudest music on the planet, then and now

#7) To Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Elvis, The Stones, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley and Nirvana for being almost completely responsible for different musical renaissances over the years

#6) Jimi Hendrix for proving that to be the man, you have to beat the man at Monterrey. Playing with your teeth, behind the back and then smashing your guitar and lighting it on fire? All hail the king!

#5) The day Paul met John at a Quarry Men performance at St Peter's Church, July 6th, 1957

#4) The day Jeff Beck left The New Yardbirds to Jimmy Page... Zeppelin was born

#3) The days Mama Young gave birth to Lil Malcolm and Lil' Angus

#2) The day Mick Jagger showed up for class at Wentworth Primary School and met Keith Richards

And finally... here it is my friends... The greatest Moment in Rock and Roll History provided by our good friend, Ted Nugent!

Not sure why he refers to his guitar as a  buffalo but he's a good shot with a bow so I'm not going to quarrel.

If you have any other great moments in rock, please feel free to to me know!
