11days ago I wrote a blog entry telling you about my devastating finger injury.

After yelling at my dog for digging holes in my backyard, I slammed my finger in the sliding glass door of our family room.  My fingernail, on my right index finger, was cracked horribly. It was bleeding like crazy and I remember writing that given time, the nail would surely fall off.  Well, the process has begun.  The good news is it looks as if I will only part with the top half of the nail.  Last night I was able to chew off a good portion of the cracked nail and scrape out some of the chunks of dried blood.

On another plus note, working a mouse is no longer an issue and I am back to my regular 4 finger typing style.  Washing my hair doesn't sting anymore and I can successfully do my fly up after a good wizzer.  Thankfully I am wearing sandals now so tying shoes is not a problem anymore either.  However, I still cannot pick my nose with my right finger and I am finding it increasingly difficult to pull my bunching FTL's out of my bum.

All in all, I am on the road to recovery.  I had many compassionate messages sent to my e-mail and facebook account, for that. I thank you all.
