I've decided to switch things up this year and NOT leave all my christmas shopping until the 24th and have to elbow other stressed shoppers, arm wrestling for the last Tickle-Me-Whatever's popular this year.

I've also decided to get a little thrifty, frugal if you will in order to keep the fine folks of VISA off my back in the New Year.

This year, everyone on my list will be getting a home-made bottle of wine. You can do it too! I called Winescape in Barrie and they set me all up. On Tuesday I'll be going in to make the wine... then it sits for about 6 weeks and I come back to bottle it all up. I'll then design my own hillarious festive labels for it, (I'm thinking MERE-Y Christmas... ha? Get it?) and give them away. Its useful, everybody likes booze, and its home made! They can drink it with you, use it for their christmas dinner, regift it if they want.... it's really the gift that keeps on giving. The best part? One batch of 30 bottles is only about $122.00!! cheapy cheapy! Its good to get it started now, so it'll be ready to go before the holiday season!
