Last night I had the honour of watching the Raps home-opener at the ACC. I say honour, because it's true.

Here's a team that has built integrity, and stability over the past couple of years. By bringing in General Manager Bryan Colangelo (formerly of the Phoenix Suns) that made a commitment to get better. That says a lot considering the Raptors are the only professional sports team in Toronto to do so in recent memory.

Chris Bosh, or CB-4 as he's so often referred too has all pledged his allegiance to the club. Unlike former Raptors members, I believe Bosh. Damien Stoudamire, Isiah Thomas, Vince Carter, all said the same thing... where are they now?

Bosh believes in the system of his head coach Sam Mitchell. A man who recently became one of the richest coaches in the NBA; deservedly so. Mitchell has amassed an 88-76 record over the past 2 seasons. A lot better than any other coach they've had.

The commitment continues with the acquisition of Jermaine O'Neal. Though his history of injuries may play a factor throughout the season, there's no doubt the man has credentials. Just what a team needs as they climb for the top.

Playoffs? Yep. Finals? I'd never say no.
