Hey, I'm emailing you in the middle of doing my hair before I head to YYZ with my friend Tim, for tonight's concert...oh by the way, we have great seats!!!!!  I think that even if the roads are snow covered, iced, or closed...we will be attending tonight!!!  I have been waiting since May for this night.  But most of all, I am just thankful that I am not driving (LOL) And for all of you tht are going down...please take your time.  It will be a great concert & you wouldn't want to miss it!!!  Thanks to THE DOCK for playin' the best classic rock, day in & out...we depend on you!!!  Please play "helpless" or "old man" so I can get into it...and finish my hair.  You wouldn't want me to have bad hair for the concert...would you????

I most definitely enjoy the dock thanks to Meg. She is such a role model for all the female listeners, she doesn't sit back and complain about stuff, like another female dj from another rock station. She gets out there and is athletic and tries new things.  My only request is the males not to get too "sexual" with your comments, there are young children listening.

Kare Way: the Colts game

Just a short note to say thank you so much for the Colts Tickets. We had a great time at the game. My son had a great time and got really into the game. It was the first time for my family at the game and we thought the seats were great. Rachel was a wonderful host and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The food was great and the Colts even won for us. Great time had by all. Thanks again.  Karen Wink

LAURIE GAYNE: Broadcast Area?

I love your station!  You play all my favorite music and are way better than any other station I've ever heard.

But where do you broadcast?  I listen while at a friend's house in Wasaga Beach, but I can't listen at my home in Toronto.

Isn't your station available in Toronto? or is there a problem with my receiver?

 Thanks for letting me know.

Guest: contests

I was reading your rules and regulations for the contests that the station offers, I can't believe that we are still at a place in time where you have to answer a skill testing question? to be a winner. I believe that we already have done the work to qualify for the prize by calling in, posting, e-mailing or even listening to the Dock which ever it is to become a winner we are LISTENING TO THE DOCK! what more do you need from us other then our ears, everyone I talk to listens to the DOCK myself included. I am requesting that this "skill testing" question be removed from your contest rules and regulations.

anyone out there who feels the same??

other then that you guys are doing a great job!!! love listening to the DOCK!! you guys ROCK!!

Kim: Trip to Cleveland

Just a quick note to say Thank you to The Dock and all the dj's who took myself and a whole bunch of people to Cleveland to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You guys are fantastic and a great bunch of people to party with. The trip was fantastic and I will never forget it. Thank you again soooo much. You guys are the best. Hope to party with you again some time. Cheers!

Tim: Yeah! but...

I am enjoying your station for the most part. A better alternative than Rock 95 for sure. You do play a good variety of stuff, however a certain DJ obviously enjoys Fleetwood Mac and Heart. Don't get me wrong both good bands, but from a "classic rock" perspective they seem to have proportionately more air time then some more deserving bands ie. Rolling Stones, Who, Beatles etc. I'm listening.....

Ted: freakin well done!!

Now this is more like it! You guys remind me of the old Moose FM when Mike Beighton was playing all the stuff no one else would.

Keep those 'B' tracks comin', seriously sick of hearing all the Classic Rock top 40 from other local stations man.

I've got you locked in!

Ci: Music Choice

Awhile ok I had asked to here some music by a group called Scrubbaloe Cain and today is the first time I heard it, I'm not saying it's the first time you played it but I heard it for the first time, and I just wanted to say THANK YOU, I love this band and I hope to hear more of their stuff in the future.

And one other thing my favorite song of Chilliwack's is Raino and you guys are the only ones I ever hear play that song, so another THANK YOU.

Please keep up the great work you all do and the great music.

I really like your station quite a bit. You seem to play a wider variety of songs from an even wider range of artists than your competition. The only complaint, yes I have one, is that your seem to only play the same songs over and over again. You don't stretch the boundaries of what you play. For example just once I'd like to hear you play a KISS song that isn't "Rock'n'Roll All Night". Play something else off of their first 6 albums, be the first to play "Let ME Go Rock'n'Roll". This applies to almost every artist you play.

Thanks.

Paul Desbois: We're proud to have you.

Just a quick comment to let you know that since tripping over "The Dock" early this summer, we've had all our radios locked onto your station.

Your on-air personalities are nothing short of fantastic, and your musical director is a genius.

Please keep up the fabulous work. You make us proud to have such a fine radio station right here in Midland.

Thanks.

Guest: You guys are great

Hi

Myself and family are new to the area. We're from Mississauga and I have been listening to the Q107 since the 70's. After moving here, I continued to listen to Q until my friend suggested your station. I was up for a change as i found Q107 became very boring and predictable over the years. I tuned in to the dock and was very impressed by what I was hearing. I heard tunes that I would never hear on Q. Although alot of the bands you play were similar, I was pleased to hear other songs by artists that don't seem to make Q's playlist. Your programming is far superior by recognizing that bands have more to offer than just one or two hit songs. I will admit Q's John Derringer is a hard morning act to follow as I always listen to the morning show on Q but you guys are WAY better on the song selections. KEEP IT UP PLEASE!!!!! Rock on

Cindy Rowbottom: Canadian Bands

I would like to commend you guys for playing such a great variety of Canadian content and not just the hit songs you play some of the more obsure stuff and I love that, but I have yet to hear Scrubbaloe Cain, they only had one album Round One but it's a fantastic album and I hope in the future you will play some of their songs from it, especially Feeling Good On Sunday, Andy Frost of Q107 plays that song every Sunday has for years so I hope you guys will play it soon. I will be at the Beatles festival in Orillia maybe see you there.

Keep up the great music you provide us with every day, I only listen to your station now, because I'm a rocker at heart.

Rock on

Rob: Outstanding Stuff

I wanted to let you know how impressed I am with the station.

Consistantly the station surprises with the quality of tunes. On an almost daily basis I am pleasantly shocked by some excellent semi-rarities. "Scarlet Begonias" by the Dead, "A Gallon Of Gas" The Kinks, "A Trick Of The Tail" Genesis. Just a few examples of some of the songs that may have not been hits but are representitve of those great bands reportoires. Also nice to hear so much Queen, ELO, Thin Lizzy and even Gordon Lightfoot.

Really I could go on and on but I wanted you to keep up the great work and know there are many others who feel the same as I do!
